Take Five for Tech
EdgeU Edition (Fall 2023)
All certified secondary staff has been added to EdgeU, our flexible and teacher-learner-centered professional development system. EdgeU is a self-directed and paced badging service. Staff can pick and choose what they want to learn as well as when and how they want to use the information. The final step of badge completion is making something that can be used with students or on the job.
Upon completion, all badges are converted to CEUs at no cost to the teacher. In fact, for those that need college credit, there is an economical way to earn college credit for work. Lastly, no preapprovals are necessary to get credit on your PD transcript! LPDC does the work for you at the end of each year and inputs your credit.

The EdgeU Process
Signing into EdgeU
- Previous EdgeU users sign in with their WCCC Google credentials at edgeubadges.com.
- New users click on the Google icon at edgeubadges.com and then use Badges4u247!
- Once a person has signed in using a generic password, it will ask for it to be changed.
- EdgeU admins can never see your new password, so if you forget it you will have to request to have it be reset.
