Testing, Testing....1...2...3...4
Dear Valley View Students and Families,
As we enter the month of March, we are moving into a very important time in our academic year. Over the next several weeks, our students will be preparing for state assessments and end-of-year benchmarks that allow them to demonstrate the growth and learning they have achieved. We are incredibly proud of the hard work our students and teachers have invested, and we are confident that our Eagles are ready to show what they know.
Consistent attendance during this time is essential. Each day of instruction provides critical review, skill-building, and test-taking strategies that help students feel prepared and confident. When students are present and on time, they benefit from the full learning experience and are better positioned for success. We ask for your partnership in ensuring that students arrive at school daily, well-rested, and ready to learn.
As a Leader in Me campus, we also encourage our students to apply the 7 Habits for success during this important season. Habits such as Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, and Put First Things First help students stay focused, manage their time, and take ownership of their learning. By using these habits both at school and at home, our students are developing the leadership skills and confidence needed to perform at their very best.
Thank you for your continued support of Valley View. Together, we can make these final months of the school year both successful and rewarding for every student.

🎤Find Your Voice
This month, our Leader in Me focus is Find Your Voice. We are encouraging students to discover their strengths, share their ideas respectfully, and take ownership of their learning. In classrooms, students have been setting goals, reflecting on their progress, and learning how to advocate for themselves in positive ways. We invite families to support this habit at home by encouraging your child to share their thoughts, set personal goals, and celebrate their growth.

🍎 Principal's Corner
Dear Eagle Families,
🎉 A few highlights from around our school:
With state testing and end-of-year assessments approaching, daily attendance is critical. Students receive important instruction, review, and practice each day that helps build their confidence and readiness. Thank you for helping your child arrive at school every day, on time, and ready to learn.
Our students had an opportunity to star in a segment called ABC 15 Kidcasters. Students will be featured on the news in the mornings as meteorologist to provide updates on the weather. Check our young leaders out!

Our boys’ and girls’ track teams represented Valley View with excellence at the district track meet. Our student-athletes demonstrated outstanding effort, sportsmanship, and school pride throughout the competition. Kobe earned first place in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash, showcasing remarkable speed and determination. Our boys’ relay team—Casey, Matthew, Julian, and Kobe—also delivered an impressive performance, capturing first place in the 4x400 relay. We are proud to share that Valley View brought home multiple medals and trophies. Congratulations to all of our athletes for their hard work and achievement!
