The Fruit Scoop!
December 2025
Message from Mr. Fournier
During this holiday season, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your hard work, support, and dedication throughout the year. It has been a wonderful time watching our students grow, learn, and create lasting memories. I hope you find time to relax and enjoy the holidays with your loved ones, filled with joy, warmth, and peace. May this season bring happiness to your home, and I look forward to another exciting year of learning and growing together in the new year! Happy Holidays to all!
Please remember to dress your child or children appropriately for morning and lunch recess. We do keep on hand a few items of winter gear when children forget their gear at home.
If weather conditions cause the cancellation of school, it will be announced on the Bangor App, email, phone and media outlets.

Outside Recess
The weather in Maine during this time of year can be chilly. However, winter time in Maine is a great time for our students to go outside and play and create those special memories playing outside at school. The school does carry extra winter gear and those days that a student forgets.

Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers
The Fruit St. School would like to thank the PTO for bring in the Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers for "The Grinch" performance. The students loved not only the performance, but how all the puppets worked and the stage setup.
Fruit Street T-Shirts and Stuffy Day
The students as part of the PBIS program earn RAMS tickets and those tickets are added up at the end of each week. The student have now earned enough tickets to have a school wide reward. On Thursday, December 18th the students can bring in their favorite stuffy and wear their Fruit St. School T-Shirts.
Dismissal Parking -- Safety Reminder
As the winter months approach, snow will begin to and fall snowbanks start to begin. This is a reminder that if there are no open parking spots in the teacher/staff parking lot all families should use the Cameron Stadium parking lot. There is no parking in the teacher / staff parking lot if no spaces are available. The path down from the Cameron Stadium will always be cleared and salt and sanded.
