Session Description: This session is designed to be a “show and tell” of tools made from the Practical Versatile and Cheap Assistive Technology Supports handbook and enhanced with items found at home or the Dollar Store, including a tilting eye gaze frame, switch holders, a number line manipulative, a toy corral, an adjustable tablet holder, a sensory table and more. PVC comes apart easily and can be reassembled for positioning, play, and learning supports. It is simple to assemble an inexpensive make-it take-it kit for home, in the office, or in the car to have the needed supplies to create low-tech AT or an adaptation wherever it is needed. Participants will have the opportunity to see examples as well as brainstorm additional ideas and solutions.
