Gifted and Talented Learning

Identified Gifted and Talented (G/T) students will receive two hours per week of G/T pull-out instruction with Mrs. Kempner, our campus G/T specialist. During this time, students are pulled out of their standard classroom to work alongside like-minded peers on interdisciplinary projects, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking exercises designed to add depth and complexity to their learning.

Please note that G/T pull-out is enrichment and extension, not accelerated instruction—meaning students are not skipping ahead in grade-level curriculum or covering next year’s material early. Instead, students explore core concepts at a much deeper, more complex level to challenge their analytical, creative, and higher-order thinking skills
