Reflection Form Updates
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we begin the second semester, we want to share an important update. Wilson Creek Elementary will be introducing new reflection forms to support student growth and accountability. Please see the attached PDF for the updated forms.
These forms are designed to help students:
- Reflect on their behavior
- Develop a plan for improvement
- Understand logical consequences assigned by teachers
If your child receives a reflection form, please know it is intended as an opportunity for learning, not punishment. Students will complete the form, and it will be sent home for a parent or guardian signature. We encourage you to discuss the situation with your child, explore what could be done differently next time, and reinforce positive choices moving forward.
Your partnership is essential in helping students build responsibility, accountability, and strong character. We truly appreciate your continued support and collaboration as we work together to make Wilson Creek a great place for every child to learn and grow.
Thank you for your ongoing support!

ALL IN ON ATTENDANCE β New Year, Fresh Start
A new semester is a chance to recommit to excellent attendance. Every school day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and prepare for success.
Attending school regularly in January sets a patternβstudents who attend 90% or more this month are more likely to meet year-end goals.
The late bell rings at 7:40am. Students should be in their classroom ready to learn at that time.
Please email WCESResidency@fultonchools.org and copy your childβs teacher when your child is absent.

Understanding Fulton County Schoolsβ Budget Outlook
Fulton County Schools is committed to being transparent about our financial outlook. Following the November 20 Board meeting, we want to share important information with families regarding the districtβs budget planning for the 2026β2027 school year.
The district is currently facing a projected $94 million budget deficit for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2026. To address this challenge, the Board has reviewed several possible strategies after months of analysis. No decisions have been made at this time. These discussions are part of an early communication effort so employees and families have time to understand the issues before the budget is finalized this spring.
While staffing adjustments may be necessary in the future, the districtβs first step will be to eliminate vacant positions or roles that become open through retirement or resignation. Any further decisions will be thoughtful, transparent, and focused on protecting students and classrooms.
What could this mean for Wilson Creek Elementary?
Two notable recommendations under consideration are the loss of one Assistant Principal and one part-time counselor if this proposal moves forward. Again, these are recommendations onlyβno final decisions have been made.
Your voice matters! Feedback is now being evaluated by the FCS Board. You can share your input at tejoin.com using code 354-522-171 or by attending upcoming community meetings.
We appreciate your understanding and partnership as we navigate this process. Our goal remains clear: to maintain high-quality learning experiences for every student while ensuring fiscal responsibility.
