Message from Mrs. Jones
This is an important week for students and families, as it marks the close of the first progress period of the school year. This is an opportunity for conversations about student successes and growth points. If you have questions regarding a class grade, please reach out directly to your student's teacher(s). Our counselors are a great resource if you have concerns about overall student success or questions about how your student can best progress in their journey toward college and career readiness. Note: Official progress grades will be posted and visible to students and families on Friday, September 23rd.
News for This Week:
Senior/Graduation Information: If you missed the Class of 2023 Information Night, students will be receiving this and additional senior information through their government classes on Monday, September 19th. Please ask your student to share what they have received!
The Warrior Way/ASSETs program is up and running! For more information, check out the Warrior Way page on the FHS website.
Student ID cards have arrived and are in the process of being distributed. If your student did not pick theirs up during lunch on Thursday or Friday, they will receive it this week. If your student did not attend registration and take an ID photo, makeup photos will be taken on September 22nd. In the meantime, students may also access a digital version of their ID card via the 5 Star App. Note: Students are expected to carry an ID card at all times, whether physical or digital. As we finalize makeup photos, IDs will be required to obtain breakfast/nutrition, lunch, supper, and bus access.

Student Parking Permits
Click HERE for a parking permit application, or stop by the AP Office for a printed copy.
Seniors purchasing spaces will need to go to the ASB window during regular hours, purchase a space for $50, and select their space number from those available. Once the students have completed their purchase, they will then bring their completed application to the AP Office to receive their parking permit. All students must have proof of a current license, insurance and registration. We will send out a follow-up communication once the placard has arrived and students can complete the parking permit process.
Senior Parking Spot Painting Party will be held Sunday, September 25th. Look out for ASB communications with additional information!
Meet Your Assistant Principals
Mrs. Gardiner and Mr. Martinez serve FHS as our awesome Assistant Principals. Mrs. Gardiner oversees our 9th and 12th grade students, and Mr. Martinez oversees our 10th and 11th grade students. Please do not hesitate to reach out to them if you have questions or need support in any way. They are here to help!
