Petersburg School District is beginning the process of developing our school calendar for the 2027–2028 school year, and we would love to hear from you!
Your input is an important part of this process and will help guide us as we develop our initial calendar drafts. We encourage families, students, and community members to take a few minutes to complete the survey below and share their thoughts.

When is Sick Too Sick for School?
As we move into the season of colds, flu, and other illnesses, we want to remind families of the importance of working together to keep our school community healthy.
We know it can sometimes be difficult to determine when your child should stay home from school. If you're unsure, please take a moment to review the guide below to help make an informed decision.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep our students, staff, and school community healthy and ready to learn!
FY 28 Budget Timeline
Budget season for the 2027–2028 school year is underway, and we encourage our school community to be part of the process!
Developing our district's budget involves thoughtful planning and decisions about how to best use the funding we receive to support our students, staff, and schools. We value and appreciate our community's input as we work to make the most of our available resources.
We invite you to review the budget development timeline below, attend any of our upcoming meetings, or reach out to the district office with questions or ideas. All meetings are held in the Petersburg High School Library.
Thank you for your continued interest, involvement, and support of Petersburg School District. Your voice is an important part of this process.

R IS FOR RESILIENT IN THE COMMUNITY!
PETERSBURG ROCC CHALLENGE — RESILIENT IN OUR COMMUNITY!
This week, our Stedman Eagles are learning what it means to ROCC while walking in town, visiting local places, and exploring public spaces! Today’s focus is RESILIENCE!
In our community, resilience means practicing self-control in new or unpredictable places and staying calm when routines change on a field trip. When expectations feel tough, Resilient Eagles try again!
COMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Practice self-control and patience out in town! Ask a Stedman Eagle:
■ "How do you stay calm when plans change on a field trip?"
■ "Why does trying again when things feel hard strengthen our Haa Latseeni (strength of body, mind, and spirit)?"
Resilience keeps us grounded and steady wherever we go.
