πŸ“£ Hello 6th Grade Families and Students

I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful weekend and are excited for FALL BREAK! Grades will be finalized by Friday after school.

This week we will be TESTING Topic 1 for Periods 1, 3, and 4 (on BLOCK DAY). This is an OPEN NOTE TEST and student CAN use a multiplication chart. The test score will be their FINAL grade for Quarter 1 (if anyone earns a 2 there will be a RETAKE the week we get back from break).

Periods 2 and 8 are graphing ordered pairs in Topic 2. The last Quiz that was taken will be part of NEXT QUARTERS grade. ANY students in Advanced Math with a 2 on the Final Topic 1 Test MUST do a retake this week during Access.

The Homework for Periods 1, 3, and 4 is the Gold Workbook Review DUE FRIDAY.

Periods 2, and 8 have online Savvas Homework Due Friday by 8:00 a.m.

I want to apologize for not responding to your students as many emails have ended up in my school spam. Most kids have been great about following up with me at school! The grade book is also being updated throughout this week so please keep checking, thank you for your patience.

Please be sure your student is completing the homework throughout the week so that they can get help in Access on Wednesday or Thursday before it is due.

NIGHTHAWK SCHOLARS IS PROVIDED AFTER SCHOOL for homework help in the library (free). See the bottom of my newsletter for specific information.
