It's Fall, Y'All! (Almost!)
Principal's Corner September 19th, 2025
Dear Little School Families,
Weβve just wrapped up our first two full weeks of school, and students have adjusted so well to their new routines. Over the past week, Iβve had the pleasure of visiting classrooms and seeing students working hard, engaging with their teachers, and already learning so much. Itβs been a wonderful start to the year!
A big thank you to all who attended our Back to School Night last week. It was great to see so many families, share information about the year ahead, and strengthen the home-school connection.
Speaking of home-school connection, I am still looking for one more parent volunteer to join our School Council! We will meet 4 times this year to discuss our School Improvement Plan, educational goals for the school, the school budget, and more. We will meet for 1 hour on Mondays from 1:15-2:15. Please reach out if interested.
A quick reminder about morning drop-off:
-
Students eating breakfast may arrive starting at 7:40 a.m.
-
All other students may arrive beginning at 7:50 a.m.
As the weeks continue, you will notice academics really beginning to pick up. We value your partnership at home in helping students build strong work habits and make meaningful connections between what they are learning in school and the world around them.
Thank you for your support in making this a positive start to the year. We look forward to all that is ahead!
Warmly,
Julie Fahey, Principal
π Social Emotional Learning
This year, The Little School is embracing the Six Pillars of Character: Caring, Fairness, Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, and Citizenship. Each trimester weβll focus on two pillarsβthis fall itβs Caring and Trustworthiness. We encourage families to join us by talking with your children at home about what these traits look like in everyday life. Together, we can help our students grow as kind, responsible members of our community.
