Week 15 - Family
Summer 2025
November 17, 2025
Hello, Mustang Families!!! We have lot going on this week!
For the first time, the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) has issued letter grades to school districts in addition to individual schools. Fayetteville Public School District is pleased to share that it has received an “A” designation for the 2024-25 school year. FPS is one of 23 school districts to receive an “A” grade out of the 254 public school districts in Arkansas.
“We are very pleased with the “A” grade Fayetteville Public Schools received,” said superintendent Dr. John Mulford. “It is a direct reflection of the hard work and determination of our teachers and students and the support of our families and community. The importance of and emphasis on education has always been a hallmark of the Fayetteville community, and it is still strong today.”

Book Fair
Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school November 13-20, 2025
Family Event: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 3:30-6:30
This is a great opportunity to build your child’s home library with new books they’ll dive into again and again. The easiest way to let your child shop the Fair independently is by creating an eWallet. It’s easy to set up and easy for others to add funds. If you create an eWallet, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to Share the Fair - the giving program that supports students at our school who need help buying books. Consider participating so that no child leaves the Fair empty-handed!
For full details, and to create an eWallet, visit our school’s Book Fair homepage:
More than ever, we need to get students reading. Studies prove that children with more books at
home have higher-level reading skills, and attain more years of education overall. Lastly, this is a great opportunity to be a Book Fair volunteer! When you give your time, it helps make
our Fair an unforgettable reading experience where every purchase benefits our school directly.
Happy reading!
