Fordland Focus

Fordland Families,

Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving? We are thankful for so much in our school district. At the top of my list are students and staff. I truly believe we have the best kids around and the best staff in SWMO. It has been a joy to get to know more of our students at the secondary level and to meet new families. I continue to learn so much in my new role but feel blessed to serve as your superintendent.

Our winter sports season is beginning. The boy's basketball team is playing in the Verona Tournament and our girls host Galena at 6:00 tonight. Come out and support your 23-24 basketball teams! Our Academic Team's season is also underway. Our Varsity team won all three contests so far! The JV team is not far behind with two contest wins. Congrats!

Once again, your partnership matters to us. Successful schools depend on the support and involvement from families and the local community. Our Fordland team looks forward to continuing the collaboration between home and school. Thank you for supporting your child and us.

#BelieveInBlue

Sincerely,

Stephanie Vickers

Superintendent
