Summer Awards
NOVA swimmers of all ages headed up I-95 to Stafford VA to compete at the Summer Awards Championship Meet, July 11-14. NOVA swept the meet as Combined, Men's and Women's champions. Swimmers from Novice Silver all the way to Senior Gold raced side by side, supporting each other in and out of the pool, and showing everyone what it means to be a NOVA swimmer.
NOVA achieved an astounding number of new best times, new time standards, new age group cuts, and new senior champs cuts. Finals were exciting for all involved, walk out songs, cheering, hugs and astounded faces ruled the pool.
NOVA swimmers showed up, swam fast and took names! Congratulations coaches and swimmers!

Senior Champs
Entering the Hampton Aquaplex the first thing you’d notice was the crowd of red and blue clad swimmers cheering on their teammates. The second thing you would notice was the sheer number of red NOVA caps in each heat. The intensity from the cheering to the swimming was top notch and made for an incredible weekend for our NOVA swimmers.
NOVA captured the Combine, Women's and Men's titles and Cooper Dillman was the men's high point winner. Our HS senior swimmers finished out their sesason in winning fashion. Congrats swimmers and coaches!

Summer league and NOVA...help us recruit.
The summer league season just wapped up and it was a lot of fun for the coaches to see NOVA swimmers competing with their summer teams all over the region. Most NOVA swimmers start their swimming careers on a summer league team and there is always a lot of interest in our team from your swimmer’s friends and their parents. Please help spread the word of evaluations and let a coach know if you have any questions
