Things you need to know:

  • Safety is our Number One Priority!
  • School starts on Wednesday. The doors will open at 7:30 am. I am attaching a parent drop off and pick up map, so you can see the flow of traffic. ALL STUDENTS will need to walk around to Door 12. Students will be asked to turn off and put away their cell phones as they enter the building. As soon as Yondr pouches are checked out (in the first days of school), we will start ensuring that phones are locked inside the pouch daily. Please talk with your child about being in compliance with the phone-free school zone policy. This is now state law.
  • When students enter the building, the 6th graders will get their final schedules in the cafeteria. All 7th and 8th graders will be directed to the gym. In the gym, 7th and 8th graders will receive the final copy of their schedule. These are the schedules that students will need to follow. Please do not have students bring the white tentative copy they received on Friday. After we ensure all students have a schedule, students will be directed to the cafeteria for breakfast or to their first period class.
  • Lunch is available at a cost of $3 per meal. You may send a lunch with your child. If you choose to drop off a lunch, you will need to sign it in at the front office and it will be delivered to the cafeteria at your child's specific lunch time. We do not allow outside businesses to deliver student meals, so please do not use Door Dash or any other delivery service to order food.
  • Students will be dismissed at 3:37 pm. They will exit the building at the door end of their hallway except 6th grade. Sixth grade will walk out of Door 19 (which goes directly to the front parent pick up lane). 7th and 8th graders will walk around from their grade level hallway to meet parents in the front. Please talk with your child about where and when you intend to pick them up. Bus riders will be called to the back of the building when their bus arrives. All students staying on campus after school, will be released to their after school location after bus riders have been picked up.
  • I am asking that you please be patient as everyone learns procedures for this new school year. We all have the same goal in mind - keeping your child safe and making this year amazing!!!
