Every Day Counts - 180
Welcome Back, Falcon Families!
I hope you and your children had a chance to rest, recharge, and enjoy a wonderful summer together.
As we open our doors and welcome our students back into the building, I’ve been reflecting on the time we have ahead. While a calendar year can feel long, we know how quickly these middle school years truly fly by. We don't just have a school year ahead of us—we have 180 nonrenewable opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive together.
Our guiding focus this year is simple: Every Day Matters. Every Opportunity Counts.
Instead of introducing a long list of new programs, we are choosing to focus on what truly makes a school feel like a second home. Here is what you can expect from us this year:
Making Sure Every Student is Known: Strong relationships are the foundation of everything we do. Guided by our Grade Level Coordinators, each grade will focus on a unique developmental journey:
Keeping Learning Clear: We want your child to walk into every class knowing what they are learning, why it matters, and how they can succeed.
Meeting Students Where They Are: We will stay tuned into your child’s daily progress so we can offer extra support the moment a gap appears, or provide exciting challenges when they are ready to fly.
Protecting Classroom Focus: Our leadership team is committed to removing unnecessary distractions so our teachers can devote their energy to what they do best: supporting and inspiring your children.
A thriving school community is built on a strong partnership between home and school. We are profoundly grateful for your trust, your support, and your active participation in our Falcon family.
Thank you for sharing your incredible children with us every day.
Throughout the year, we will be pausing at key checkpoints to celebrate student growth, reflect on their experiences, and make sure we are serving them in the best ways possible.
Let’s make every single day count!
Warmly,
Dr. G. Walles
