The Future of Technology in Our Schools is on the Ballot in November

This November, our community will vote on renewing and increasing the technology levy that supports our schools. First approved in 2015, this levy is what makes things like student iPads, digital curriculum, Wi-Fi, and cybersecurity possible every day. If the levy isn’t renewed, the district would lose more than $9.1 million each year—funds we count on to keep students connected and learning. Early voting opens this Friday, Sept. 19!

Closed Campus - No Food Deliveries

Eagan HS Closed Campus – No Food Deliveries or Departure Without a Pass

EHS is a closed campus. Students are not allowed to depart from campus unless they have a valid pass to do so. Lunch time requires students to be in the Cafeteria (Commons) and not ordering in food. We have a Federally and State subsidized Food Program and cannot compete with that program. Any food delivered by services to the building, will be refused.

Students are not allowed to go to vehicles in the parking lot during the day – unless given a pass from the Attendance Office to do so. Call 651-683-6911

If a parent/guardian needs to have a student depart during the school day, or arrive late due to an appointment (medical, dental, counseling, etc.) a call to our Attendance Office is needed. Call 651-683-6911. A pass will be prepared for the student to depart and check back in upon return. Students may pick up the yellow pass anytime during the school day- it is on the front counter of the Attendance Office.

Run/Walk to Remember Our Fallen 196 Graduates Run/Walk to Remember Our Fallen 196 Graduates

For the past several years, many of us have participated in the Warrior 196 5K in September to honor the fallen service members who were graduates of our school district. With the race discontinued, our local wear blue: run to remember – Lakeville community has decided to highlight our fallen 196 graduates with our next monthly run/walk on Saturday, September
27 at 8 a.m. at Casperson Park in Lakeville.
Our events begin with a Circle of Remembrance where we call out names of fallen service members and in doing so, create a living memorial. We then take purposeful steps in honor of the fallen, the fighting, and the families. This is not a race, no registration is required, and there is never any cost to participate. After the circle, I will review a 3-mile route, but no distance is too far or too short to remember. All ages and ability levels are welcome; strollers and 4-legged friends are also welcome to join.

Please feel free to invite anyone who may want to join in remembering our 196 grad who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Let me know if you have any questions. If you are on Facebook, I regularly update event information on our wear blue: run to remember – Lakeville Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/share/g/16HJ5aH1un/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Thank you,

Susan Craig

We want to identify students by their preferred nicknames, so we created a form to help with that. This is what the form says: So you go by Jake, but we put you in the yearbook as Jacob? Or you go by your middle name instead of your first name? Please fill out this form so the yearbook staff can correctly identify you in the 25-26 yearbook. You have until the end of September to change your name in the book. After that, we cannot guarantee your name will be changed.
