We have a BIG week ahead at RES! We're looking forward to welcoming our families tomorrow evening, kicking off our Book Fair, and hopefully seeing those 50/50 Raffle ticket sales take off!

Title I Fall Family Engagement Night | 4:00–6:00 PM

Tuesday evening is all about celebrating student learning! Our Rockets will share their learning portfolios, progress, and goals with YOU! Families will also visit the Book Fair, participate in a Title I session, and take home a math activity with all the materials needed to practice together.

Please arrive by 4:00 PM! Check out the rotation schedule below to see where your family should begin. We'll also have printed copies available when you arrive. Have children in multiple grades? We'll help you make it work! We can't wait to see our Rocket Families!

Our Book Fair opens TUESDAY! Families attending our Engagement Night will get to shop together on the very first day!

Students can also shop during the school week. Sending cash? Please label it with your child's name and spending amount. Prefer not to send cash? Scholastic eWallet is a great option, and family members can contribute, too! Details are below.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📱 IMPORTANT CHANGE — Report Cards Are Going DIGITAL! Available Thursday, October 15

Rocket Families, this is an important change from what we're used to! Report cards will NOT come home on paper this year. Instead, you will access your child's report card through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal beginning THIS THURSDAY, October 15.

We know this is a BIG change for our families, and we want to make sure everyone can see their child's progress! Need help accessing Parent Portal? Please call our school at (828) 287-3778, and we'll be happy to help! Our goal is to make sure EVERY family can access their child's report card!

Rocket Family, we have a challenge for YOU!

Last year's lucky winner took home MORE THAN $6,000! So far this year, we've sold just 130 tickets with 23 students participating out of 360. I know many families wait until the final week, but let's get those tickets turned in NOW and build some excitement!

🚀 OUR CHALLENGE: 300 TICKETS SOLD BY FRIDAY!

That's just 170 more tickets this week! At 300 tickets, our winner's share would already be $1,500, with another $1,500 coming back to RES! Let's make this year's raffle BIGGER than last year's! I know our Rocket Family can do it!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be here October 13-October 16. Ewallets are available to set up if you do not want to send money with your child. You can also share the link to your child's ewallet for friends and family to add money to their account.
To help keep the fair running smoothly, we ask that you set up an ewallet for your child or send in a bag or envelope clearly labeled with their name and the amount with the money they are allowed to spend.
