Leadership Update for Hawbridge Families
As we prepare for the new school year, we'd like to share an update about our leadership team.
The Hawbridge School has always valued collaborative leadership, and that commitment remains at the heart of how we serve our students, staff, and families. While we've made some adjustments to our leadership structure, our focus remains the same: providing a strong, supportive learning environment for every student.
This school year, Alexis Crumel will serve as Executive Director, providing overall leadership for the school and working closely with our administrative team to support both the Lower and Upper Schools.
Logan Robertson has been named Lower School Assistant Director and will continue working closely with students, families, and staff in grades K-6. Many of our families already know Logan through her work supporting student success, and we are excited for her to continue serving our Lower School community in this expanded leadership role.
Jennifer Kelly will continue leading our Exceptional Children's Services program while also serving as Assistant Director of Student Services and Instruction. In this role, she will help strengthen instructional practices and student support systems across our K-12 program.
We also plan to add an Upper School Assistant Director later this school year. In the meantime, Alexis will work closely with the Upper School team to ensure students, staff, and families continue to receive the support they need during this transition.
We are excited for the year ahead and remain committed to open communication, strong partnerships with families, and providing the best possible experience for every Hawbridge student. Thank you for your continued trust and support, we look forward to another wonderful school year together!

Plates for a Purpose Update!
Our first annual Plates for a Purpose fundraiser was a tremendous success! Families, staff, students, and community members came together for an evening of great food, live music, exciting auction items, and celebration, showcasing the incredible generosity and spirit of The Hawbridge School community.
Thanks to ticket sales, plate sales, and our silent auction, we raised $7,203.97. These funds will directly support our efforts to expand lunch options and strengthen our school pantry, helping ensure that all students have access to nutritious meals and essential food resources.
We are grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and supported this event. We can't wait to build on this success and welcome everyone back for another amazing Plates for a Purpose fundraiser next spring!
Hawbridge Family Involvement
Do you know about the Hawbridge Family Advisory Council? The family advisory council—or FAC for short—is a new group at our school that is working hard to bridge the gap between families and the powers-that-be who make decisions for Hawbridge. The FAC works closely with school administrators and the board to ensure feedback from Hawbridge families informs policies, best practices, and school culture. It is composed of parent representatives across both the Lower and Upper Schools, including parent reps for our Exceptional Children (EC) Program. The FAC makes sure your voices are heard!
If you are interested in learning more about the Hawbridge Family Advisory Council and how you might be a good fit as a parent representative, please email TheHawbridgeFAC@gmail.com and a current parent rep will reach out to you with more information.
PASTA is the Hawbridge version of a PTA! PASTA stands for Parent Administrator Student Teacher Association. We work to support teachers and students throughout the school year by providing classroom supplies, teacher treats or lunches, and other support. Learn more about PASTA on our website and through their Facebook. All families will be entered into the PASTA communication newsletter at the beginning of the school year.
