Week of 4/13-4/17

FACS- Mrs. Burton

This week Mrs.Burton’s classes will continue with the Food Preparation unit. The activities this week and next will focus on safety in the kitchen and food preparation in the form of helping with family meals.

FACS- Mrs. Hertlein

Mrs. Hertlein’s FACS classes will continue on with the Foods/Cooking unit. For the week of 4/20, activities will focus on Food Safety/Prevention of Foodborne Illness, as well as food preparation in the form of helping with family meals. Shop 1/Shop 2- Mr. Kramer

This week Mr.Kramer's classes will start Unit:Ch 9 Rabbet Joint. Students will be able to Identify parts of a Rabbet joint, types of blades and bits used in creating this common fabrication technique.

Student’s will read text , complete student workbook review questions for Ch 9, submit on google classroom.

Tech Ed 1- Mr. Rachal

Students are creating characters for a video game they will create. Students will create a protagonist, antagonist, and 3 objects. These creations will need different actions created as well (jumping, walking, and ducking). They will use a program called Pixel art to create their characters and objects. For the week of 4-20, students are going to continue to work on their main characters and create a story for their video game.

Tech Ed 2- Mr. Rachal

For the next 2 weeks students will code using either code HS or Khan academy.
