Physicals and Immunizations are due on October 15, 2025!

Students in Kindergarten, sixth, ninth and twelfth grade are required to have either a physical exam, immunizations or both to attend school in the State of Illinois. Your school's nurse will have notified you if your child is missing one of these requirements. Please make sure that the requirements are completed and sent into school. If the requirements are not met, your child will be excluded from school until they are met.

Meet some of our team members.

As part of SEDOL's Continuous Improvement Plan, SEDOL staff at each building have volunteered to be a part of our Medical Emergency Response Teams, aka MERT teams. Each staff member has completed additional training in CPR, AEDs, Stop the Bleed, Seizures, Concussions and Narcan. These team members include principals and assistant principals, teachers, nursing staff, paraprofessionals and other related service staff. They will be responding to any medical emergency that occurs in a SEDOL building. At least twice a year, the MERT teams will be completing drills. Bob, Polly and Wiley are a few of our manikins that staff will be using to practice their skills.

Stop to say Hi if you see us, as long as a drill is not in progress. :-)
