8th Grade Glow Night
On Friday, May 9th, JCMS will be celebrating the 8th grade class with an event called 8th Grade Glow Night! This will be a casual, memorable event for our 8th graders!
The event will take place this Friday, May 9th starting at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Students should be picked up promptly at 8:00 PM. There will be pizza, desserts, and the concession stand will also be open for purchases. There will be games, dancing, a photo booth, and lots of other memory-building experiences with classmates. Students are encouraged to wear neon colors or something that will glow under a blacklight. Come and enjoy the fun!
A couple of reminders:
- Students must be in attendance for the school day to be able to attend.
- Discipline issues can affect a student being able to attend.
If you have any specific questions feel free to reach out to Mrs. Garrett, Mr. Rigby, or Ms. VanLandeghem!
🐾 ILEARN Testing Plan 🐾

Below is our testing schedule:

🐾 Good luck to the JCMS Archery Team at Nationals! 🐾
We are incredibly proud to wish the best of luck to our Jennings County Middle School Bullseye and 3D Archery teams as they travel to Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday, May 8th, to compete in the 2025 NASP/I.B.O. Eastern Nationals Tournament!
This is a major achievement for the program! A total of 24 of our Bullseye archers qualified for Nationals, along with our entire 3D Archery Team—an outstanding accomplishment for both groups. These qualifications were earned based on their performance at the Indiana NASP/I.B.O. State Tournament.
Although our Bullseye team narrowly missed reaching their ultimate team goal, their collective effort and scores still secured them a well-deserved spot at Nationals. Their determination, sportsmanship, and growth throughout the season have been remarkable.
We couldn’t be more excited to see these talented student-athletes represent JCMS on a national stage. Their dedication, discipline, and passion for archery are truly inspiring.
Best of luck, archers—shoot straight, stay focused, and bring home a win!
