New teacher training consists of educational topics and strategies for:

  • Legal Issues
The Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) requires all new teachers to receive training from a teacher education program at the college or university level. In conjunction with Missouri Southern State University (MSSU), the Southwest Center (SWC) provides this training for first & second year teachers.
