The Board recognized Ms. Carney and her Lions Legacy group for all the work they've done to help in the school and in the community.

The Board recognized the band members who earned a Good, Excellent, or Superior rating during the SCBDA Solo & Ensemble Assessment.

The Board recognized our Winter and Spring Athletes who named "all region" for their respective sports.

The Board recognized our juniors and seniors who earned an University Studies certificate from York Technical College. A University Studies certificate is the half-way point to earning an associates.

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at a regularly scheduled board meeting (agenda), the Riverwalk Academy Board took action on the following items:


FY24 Budget Amendment

The Board voted unanimously to approve a recommenced amendment to the school's current year budget.


FY25 Budget for First Reading

The Board voted unanimously to approve the first reading of the FY25 (next school year) budget. The budget will go for a second reading on June 18th, after the State finalizes its budget for the upcoming fiscal year.


Updated the School's Fixed Asset Policy

The Board voted unanimously to approve a recommended fixed asset policy amendment that updates the threshold for considering an item a fixed asset.
