A Message from Ms. Schilling
We are just chugging right along this school year! I can't believe we are already in Novmeber! We are having such a great school year! Learning and growing...and having so much fun along the way!
Thank you so much to each of you who helped ensure Fall parties were a success!! We had a great day showing off our costumes, participating in games, and enjoying (too many LOL) sweet treats! We couldn't do these without such wonderful family support!
Congrats to October's Jags of the Month students and staff members! We are so proud of our Jags for representing the character trait of Gratitude, which they have been learning about daily during the morning social-emotional time with Purposeful People. This month they will be learning more about Empathy, so be sure to ask them about it at home! As well as what they are learning in other subjects, which is linked below in the "Look What We're Learning at the J" section.
A big THANK YOU to the Jeffersontown Fire Department for coming out to speak to our students! All of our 1st and 2nd grade students got to participate in an interactive learning opportunity with Jtown Fire all about Fire Saftey. We are blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community! (See pics below!)
This week our 2nd Graders will help our school celebrate Veteran's through their their musical performances. We look forward to seeing them showcase their talents on stage this week. Thank you, Mrs. Townsley, for using your musical talents to prepare our students. Looking forward to seeing all of our little performers! To those of you who served, we thank you for your service and Happy Veteran's Day!
We encourage all of our families to get involved and here's your chance! Our first General Body PTA meeting is November 21st at 6pm at Malibu Jack's. Come join us for a meeting and have fun with your little Jag at Family Fun NIght! It's a win-win!
