El Camino de Dolores Walk to School Day on Friday, April 10
Let’s get ready to walk for our first ever El Camino de Dolores Walk to School event! This year, we’re honored to dedicate our steps to the incredible legacy of Dolores Huerta. This year, we're taking inspiration from the extraordinary life of Dolores Huerta. As a civil rights icon and labor leader, Dolores paved the path to justice, organizing farm workers and leading powerful marches for fair wages and safe working conditions. Her journey showed us how courage, persistence, and a united community can transform lives. By joining this event, you are building community in her honor and learning about her great work. To learn more about Dolores check out this video.
Stolen Bikes at Woodstock and How to Reduce the Risk
Two student bikes were stolen from Woodstock last Thursday morning around 7:20 am. The thieves stomped the combo locks and the locks just popped apart. A police report was filed and there's video from the exterior cameras. Please be on the lookout for these two stolen bikes. Front baskets, rear racks.
What can we do to reduce the risk of this happening? Take a few minutes to write down the serial numbers of your bikes, take pictures of your bikes, AND most importantly upgrade your locks. The cheap combo locks many of us have are just too weak. U locks and other strong locks are a good way to help prevent bike theft. Many locks have a security rating so research what might work for you and your kiddos.
Thank you from the Walk & Roll Committee!
Woodstock PTA invites you to watch the Timbers play!

It's a wonderful opportunity for the families of the school to come together for an unforgettable experience in the world of professional soccer. Select kids will be chosen to participate and watch the Timbers warmup up on the sidelines before the match. Tickets are limited so purchase your tickets today!
Help Hire Woodstock’s Next Principal!
PPS has started the official hiring process that you can learn about HERE. Last summer, current principal Heidi Earle was appointed as “interim” and she is a candidate for the permanent position at Woodstock with nearly 20 years of experience as an instructional leader and administrator across diverse PPS settings.
Keep in mind the next leader of Woodstock will need to navigate tough budget cuts and future school consolidation. Do you have a strong opinion who that leader should be? Does your student have a heart-warming story to share? We encourage families to share specific examples of positive collaboration from this school year. Here’s how:
