Greetings Eagle Nation!

At EAHS, we are very proud to be a part of a supportive learning community with our students and parents, as well as our community partners. The faculty and staff at EAHS strive to create an environment where students fulfill their academic and career potential and have opportunities to participate and find success in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Everett Alvarez High School is a great place to learn, make new friends, and grow as a leader. Our campus offers a variety of ways to become involved such as clubs, athletics, specialized pathways, field trips, NJROTC, band, ASB, and much more! School safety is always our top priority, ensuring a physically, mentally, and emotionally safe environment for learning. It is our goal that every student will graduate from EAHS College and be career-ready.

It's Teacher Appreciation Week! It's Teacher Appreciation Week!

This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week, and we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible educators who make a difference every day here at Everett Alvarez High School. Our teachers go above and beyond to support, guide, and inspire our students—both in and out of the classroom.

We invite our EAHS families to join us in honoring our teachers by showing appreciation in a simple, meaningful way: write them a quick thank-you note or message of gratitude. A few kind words can go a long way in reminding our educators just how valued they are.

To make it easy, you can send a digital E-Card of Appreciation to a teacher by completing the form below. Choose from four card designs, write your message, and we’ll make sure it gets delivered to their inbox!

Thank you for helping us recognize the amazing work of our Eagle teachers!

Everett Alvarez High School has earned the prestigious PLATINUM Recognition from the California PBIS Coalition, marking the highest level of achievement in the state’s PBIS Recognition System. PBIS, or Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, is a proactive, research-based framework that helps schools foster positive behavior, improve school climate, and enhance academic and social-emotional outcomes for all students. Platinum status means that EAHS has demonstrated exemplary implementation of PBIS strategies with fidelity, data-driven decision-making, strong staff collaboration, and inclusive practices. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and equitable school environment where every student feels connected, valued, and equipped to succeed both in and out of the classroom. EAHS continues to lead by example, showing that when schools invest in the whole student, success follows.

Eagle Summit: Wings of Power Empowers Over 200 Students Eagle Summit: Wings of Power Empowers Over 200 Students

On November 16, 2024, Everett Alvarez High School hosted its 2nd Annual Eagle Summit: Wings of Power, bringing together over 200 students for a day focused on empowerment, healing, and connection. Born out of a collective need identified by our PBIS Tier 1, 2, and 3 teams, the summit aimed to address the broader social-emotional needs of students—particularly those who may not already access support services on campus.

A dedicated subcommittee of staff and students came together to organize this impactful event. With a mission to inspire and educate, the summit featured community members and EAHS alumni who shared their personal journeys and led meaningful sessions on bullying prevention, mental health, substance abuse, educational pathways, and the unique needs of LGBTQ+ youth.

The event was open to all students, with incentives like community service hours and attendance recovery offered to encourage participation. The Eagle Summit not only created a safe space for open dialogue and learning but also reaffirmed our school's commitment to uplifting every student and nurturing a culture of belonging and resilience.

Through the program, students earn Eagle Points by following school expectations known as The Eagle Way. Whether it’s showing respect, being responsible, or demonstrating school pride, positive behavior is consistently acknowledged.
