We hope you are enjoying the start of summer.

We’re excited to share some summer opportunities with you and provide an update on the school hours for the summer. We have also included a School Calendar for next year with important breaks and activities to look forward to.

Free Lunches During The Summer

The Beaverton School District is serving free lunches for all children (ages 1-18). Adults can eat lunch for $5 per meal. No application or registration is necessary. In addition to lunch, some sites will offer breakfast in conjunction with scheduled summer school programs.

Lunch is being served on Monday through Thursday at the following sites.

Aloha-Huber Park K-8 School (June 23-July 17)
Beaver Acres Elementary School (June 23-July 17)
Beaverton City Park (June 16-August 7)
Cedar Hills Recreation Center (June 16-August 7)
Elmonica Elementary School (June 23-July 17)
Greenway Elementary School (June 23-July 17)
Hazeldale Elementary School (June 23-July 17)
Southridge High School (June 16-August 7)
Vose Elementary School (June 23-July 17)
Westview High School (June 16-August 7)
William Walker Elementary School (June 23-July 17)

Check the Summer Meal Program webpage for dates and times plus menus. There’s also an interactive map on our website that shows the locations within the district. In addition, you can call 211, and an operator can assist you in finding a site in your area.

THPRD is offering a FREE Rec Mobile Summer Camp at Vista Brook Park!

***For ages 6 - 10 years old must have completed first grade.***

There are several options available from throughout the weeks of 07/07 to 08/18.

Family Eligibility:

Live in low-income housing
Are in unhoused status
Qualify for THPRD's Financial Aid Program

There is nothing better than summer camp for trying new things and doing the things we love: crafts, sports, games, science, cooking, art and so much more!

Bring a lunch, snack, sunscreen, a water bottle daily, and closed-toe shoes!

School Office Summer Hours

The School Office will be open until June 24th, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. After that date, we will close for the summer and will reopen on August 4th.

During July, we may check our email occasionally, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have an urgent matter at BTHY-Communications@beaverton.k12.or.us.

2025-2026 School Calendar of Events

This week, we have been busy organizing the school events for the upcoming year. We are excited to announce a variety of evening activities sponsored by the PTO, along with fun school events throughout the year. This calendar will also provide you with important dates, including winter and spring breaks, conferences, and other days where there is no school.

Dates subject to Change for some events. Notice will be given in the Bobcat Blast.
