Math

We are multiplying and dividing whole numbers by fractions.

Science

We will be starting our unit on weather vs. climate, both similarities and differences.

ELAR

We will have an assessment next week over traditional literature and non-fiction.

Social Studies

We will be talking about the Civil War.

February 14th: Science Interim

February 14th: Valentine's Party (Time and Details TBD)

Interim Testing

We will be having a second round of Interim Testing in February. This will be just like what we did last semester, except this time they will take one for science as well. Just like last time, this will do two things for both us and the kids: students get a chance to see the different types of questions they will see on the actual STAAR test later this year, and it will help us to see where they are now that we are just a few months away from the end of the school year.

These dates will be as follows:

February 7th-8th: Reading & Math Interim

February 14th: Science Interim
