A special thanks to all the career representatives, the Middle School Social Studies teachers, and the DaVinci Administration for their support and assistance in making this a very valuable experience.

The DaVinci Equity Committee is having our annual family traditions and heritage night on Thursday, November 14, from 6:30–8:00 PM.

We would love to have your family involved and share about your heritage and/or family traditions and holidays. We will kick the event off with a visit from a local Vietnamese author and then a fashion show in the PAC! Share your heritage, family traditions, holidays, make a poster, bring a food sample to share, perform a song or dance, or just come to enjoy learning more about our community.

Our Student Council is excited to announce the return of the annual Toys for Tots drive! Now through December 6, we invite students and families to spread holiday cheer by donating new, unwrapped toys for children in need. Donation bins are conveniently located on each floor, or toys can be dropped off at the main office.

Looking to support pre-teens and teens? Gift ideas for these age groups include sporting equipment, books, backpacks, cosmetics, wallets or purses, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars, hand-held electronics, skateboards, bicycles, and hair styling tools like curling irons and straighteners.

DaVinci - Let’s work together to make a difference and help brighten the holiday season for kids in our community. Thank you for supporting this wonderful cause!

Join DaVinci Academy PTO at Culver’s in Blaine (Hwy 65 & 105th) on November 19th from 5-7 pm. Culver’s will donate 10% of sales to our PTO—plus, enjoy the “Flavor of the Day!”

Anoka High School will be hosting its Tri. 1 STEAM Showcase, Open House, and Professional Review on Wednesday, November 13th, at 6:30 pm!

We welcome our 8th-grade families to join us for a STEAM information session night at 6:30 pm in the Makerspace, followed by a chance to experience one of our STEAM Showcases in action. We invite you to check out the hundreds of projects on display, talk to our STEAM students and teachers, and ask us any additional questions!

Winter weather is on its way! Please remember to send your child to school with a warm jacket, hat, and gloves (labeled with their name) when cooler temperatures are in the forecast. Our students go outside daily, and we want everyone to stay cozy and comfortable. Be sure to check the forecast each morning to help your child dress appropriately for the day.

We’re excited to introduce a new infographic poster designed to help families navigate the tricky question: "Is my student too sick to attend school?"

This poster breaks down common symptoms, offering clear guidance on when to keep your student(s) home and when they’re likely safe to return. Created to empower both parents and students, the infographic provides visual, easy-to-follow advice on handling colds, fevers, and other everyday health concerns. We hope this tool will support our shared goal of keeping our school community healthy as well as reducing unnecessary absences.
