Message from Principal Higgins
Dear Academy Families & Friends,
First & foremost, I hope all of our students, families, and staff had a great (and restful) week away from school. While it is sad to see a vacation week come to an end, the next two months will be packed with many different activities and events for our school community. Believe it or not, the next long vacation in SY22...is Summer break!
- Today is the last day for Lip Sync Groups to sign up. The annual tradition will be on Friday, May 6th @ the Adams Auditorium.
- Running club begins this week on Thursday for the students in Grades 2-5 who have signed up.!
- The Rockin' Lunch Party is tomorrow for all grades, topped off with Pie the Principal at 2PM (as part of the ST Math Challenge Victory prize).
- Also I want to give big shout outs to our 5th grade parent volunteers who made our 1st ever "Water Day" with NSRWA a huge success.
- The AAPC needs your help. There are several events that we are planning that will require parent/family volunteers. There will also be AAPC elections happening in May for two E-board seats. Please see the message below and please consider running/supporting AAPC...they make a world of different in our school's ability to host so many great opportunities for our students. Click here for a copy of the monthly AAPC newsletter.
- Last but not least, Grade 3 students have ELA MCAS Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Like grades 4 & 5, we need all 3rd grade students rested and ready for the exams. If you have a 3rd grader, please give her/him a good night's sleep and a solid breakfast so they can perform at their best!
I am excited to see everyone tomorrow morning bright & early,
Mr. Higgins
Principal
