There is an active PTO at North HS - and we would love for you to be part of it! We are all working parents who want to give something back to the SCN community. PTO supports student events like Homecoming and Graduation Yard Signs and host the best Post Prom around! We also fund classroom grants, nurse office supplies, senior scholarships, refreshments for multiple events, and much more. $30 PER FAMILY is all we ask. 97% of our budget comes through DUES and dues alone and less than 50% of our families actually pay dues. Paying dues does not obligate you to make any time commitment. Of course, we hope you'll want to donate your time and talent, as well, but all we ask is $30 (less than a fast food dinner). If every family paid their dues, we might not have to ask for donations, either!

PTO is a lot of fun. We need your energy and ideas - please stop by our table on Back to School Night for a chance to win SCN spirit wear and attend our next meeting on September 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the LRC.

Volunteers needed

Homecoming is September 13th. PTO provides light refreshments at the dance. Volunteers are needed to help staff the table.

Post Prom is the biggest event of the year for the PTO. Planning has already begun! Come to the meeting 9/5 to hear how you can get involved. If you have questions, please reach out to Julie at scnhs.pto@gmail.com.

We are still in need of a Social Media Chair for the 2025-2026 school year. This position manages our Facebook Page and X-accounts. If you might be interested in a Board position or a Committee leadership role, please join us Tuesday, September 2nd for more information. Our current VP has graduated out and while willing to stay on, would gladly help train the next VP.

Coming up

In October, we will be hosting a Staff Conference Dinner and arranging Halloween treats for staff on 10/31. Keep an eye on Polaris for ways you can help with these events.

Over the next several weeks we will also roll out applications for Senior Scholarships and Teacher Grants.

If you haven't already done so, it's not too late to pay your annual PTO membership dues! Just $30 per family (not per student). The PTO supports 100% of SCN students and staff. We appreciate your support if you are able. If your senior wishes to apply for the PTO Scholarship, dues must be paid in full.
