Field Day T-Shirts
We have partnered with Ye Creations to sell Field Day T-Shirts. A portion of the sales will go to support the PE Department. PE Field Day will be on May 20. In order to get your shirt before Field Day, please order before May 16. If you choose 'store pick-up' at check out, the shirts will be delivered to the school and sent home with your student.
5th Grade Celebration Day - May 21
Save May 21 as the Date to celebrate your 5th grade student! We will have a small ceremony at school that day. In the evening, we have reserved JayDee's Family Fun Center for your families to enjoy an evening out. The JayDee's event is $20 per person and open to our 5th grade families. Each student must be supervised by an adult. No students may be dropped off. More information about this event will be coming home on April 22.

Will my student earn the SOAR reward?
As a reminder, the Jostens Renaissance Program is a framework of culture where teachers love their job and students thrive in school. It is built on common core values and expectations. At Mill Creek, our Renaissance program is built around the core values of Safety, Ownership, Achievement and Respect. Students and staffulty will receive recognition and rewards when following these core values. Each day, our students will have the opportunity to earn a SOAR point based on these values. You can find the guidelines on the back of their daily folders and check their progress on Class Dojo.
We will host our third nine week SOAR celebration on May 22. In order for your student to earn this reward, they must have earned their daily SOAR point at least 80% of the time. For this nine weeks, your student will need 36 points. Students earn points by being present for a full day of school (unless they have a doctor's note), completing work and showing SOAR'n behavior each day.
