NWEA Student Profile Reports
In the last week or so, students were provided their NWEA Student Profile Reports by their ELA and Math teachers and supported in analyzing their results. They should've brought these results home to you. Ask them to share them with you if you haven't already had the opportunity! These reports can provide helpful insights into your student's strengths and opportunities for skill-specific goal-setting.
Cindarella's Closet - Affordable Prom Attire for Students
Please see the information from LACASA about the upcoming opening of Cinderella's Closet with plenty of time to get ready for Prom:
Prom season is almost here, and LACASA’s Cinderella’s Closet is back! From March 19–22, high school students are invited to shop a pop-up prom boutique featuring $25 gowns, dresses, and suits, along with affordable shoes and accessories.
Cinderella’s Closet offers students a chance to find the perfect prom look at a price families can manage. A limited number of scholarships are available for students who need additional assistance. All proceeds support LACASA’s services for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual violence.
The boutique will be located at Kensington Valley Outlets (near LACASA Collection, next to Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Outlet). Students must present a valid school ID to shop.
The pop-up boutique will be open weekdays 3 - 7 pm and weekends 10 am-6 pm. For more information, visit lacasacenter.org.

LivCo CTE & Community College Programming Survey
Dear Families,
Our school, in partnership with the Livingston Educational Service Agency (LESA) and Hanover Research, are conducting a survey to understand your perceptions and experiences with Career and Technical Education (CTE) and access to community college in Livingston County.
Your feedback is completely confidential, only takes 6-8 minutes to complete, and will help LESA identify ways to support students and improve access to educational opportunities.
Please click here to share your thoughts (survey closes February 27, 2026): https://hanover-research.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8pn6r3fv5gy6AdM
Thank you for sharing your perspective and helping support student access across Livingston County!

Student & Staff Member of the Week!
Every week, students and staff have the opportunity to nominate a peer and PCHS staff member for recognition in the school, and for the student, recognition in The Livingston Daily. Nominations are based on how fellow Pirates are demonstrating the character strengths we prioritize in Pinckney Community Schools. Our Leadership & Link Crew class reviews nominations and selects each week's honorees. Enjoy learning about our excellent Pirates!!

PCHS Monthly STRENGTH: Love
Across the month of February, we will capitalize on opportunities to put the character strength of LOVE to work as a school community, during Seminar, class time, and in the day-to-day of our building. Take advantage of opportunities to touch upon this strength at home! In the image below, you can see the rationale for why the Leadership Class selected this strength to be the focus at this time in our school year.
Want to engage with this character strength at home? Check out this family resource page: https://posproject.org/p2-for-families/9-12/love/ You’ll find a quote, video, and questions to help you and your children discuss The Positivity Project’s character strength of love.
