PTO GENERAL MEETING AND COMMITTEE MEETING
Our spring PTO GENERAL MEETING is Thursday, April 30th from 6:30-7:00pm in the Deer Run commons. This meeting is OPEN TO ALL Deer Run parents, guardians, teachers, and staff. We will be closing out this school year and discussing our plans for the 2026-2027 school year.
Immediately following from 7-7:30pm, we will have the PTO Committee meeting for all committee members and any other parents interested in learning about the committees.
We hope to see you there!
SPRING SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
Our spring Scholastic Book Fair will be May 6th-15th!
We are looking for volunteers to assist in the library with book fair shopping. Please sign up here! No experience needed! There are a number of spots still to be filled, including time slots for Sunday set-up and Family Shopping Night! We appreciate your help!
2026-2027 PTO BOARD AND COMMITTEE POSITIONS
We are looking to PTO Board Members and Committee Chairs for the 2026-2027 school year!! Volunteers partner with our DRE teachers and administration to bring amazing opportunities to our Deer Run students and families. There are a number of open positions available for next year!
Volunteers have a chance to shadow current chairs and learn all the ropes as we transition the roles. Descriptions of the roles can be found on the signup genius below.

P.E.R.C. - PARENTS AND EDUCATORS RAISING OUR COMMUNITY
PERC was formed in 2004 during a PTO Presidents meeting, where concerns around underage drinking sparked a broader conversation.
Our name proudly stands for "Parents and Educators Raising our Community". Our goal is to equip our Dublin community with the tools to make informed, healthy choices and to recognize potential risks in everyday life. Since then, we have continued our mission through thoughtful programming and community collaboration.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
There are a number of after school classes available for our Deer Run students, including Drama Kids, Robot Academy, Fashion Stars, and French Club! ,There is something for everyone! Visit this link for registration information!
KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS
Are you signed up for "Kroger Community Rewards"? With a few simple steps, you can link your Kroger Shop Card to Deer Run and a small donation will be made to our school every time you shop. It does not cost you anything and it does not pull from your rewards.
Follow these steps to sign up -
- Sign in to your digital Kroger account on the app or your computer.
- In the drop down on the left hand side, Find "Rewards", then select "Community Rewards". On the website, click on "My Account" under your name, and then select "Community Rewards".
- Search for "Deer Run Elementary School", select, and click "Save". Your selected organization will now display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account.

CURRENT VOLUNTEERS: Be sure to double check the expiration date on your volunteer card. You cannot "renew" your card and instead must complete the background check process again before it expires. Thank you for attending to this well in advance of your volunteering date.

Are you willing to help the PTO on events throughout the year? "PTO Helping Hands" is a great way to get involved without making a long term commitment.
