The Weekly Update #4

We will be beginning state testing soon at Prospect. Fifth grade students will take the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) next week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 12:15 PM.

Students in 3rd–5th grade will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) on April 7–9 at 9:45 AM, and again on April 14 and 15. On April 14 and 15, 3rd and 4th grade will test at 8:45 AM, and 5th grade will test at 12:15 PM.

You can help your child feel confident and prepared by making sure they get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time during testing days. Encouragement from home can also help students do their best and feel relaxed. Thank you for supporting our students during this time!

Students in 2nd–5th grade who qualified to take the Math Bridge Assessment in March will take the pre-assessment on Monday, March 23rd.

Parents will receive an email on Monday, March 16th notifying them that their child has qualified to participate in the pre-assessment. In the email, parents will be asked to acknowledge their child’s qualification and confirm their understanding that the assessment will take place during the school day.

The Community House will be offering the Before and After the Bell programs at Prospect School to help meet the needs of our families.
