The Weekly Update #27-9

Herbert Hoover Middle School
Dear Hoover community,
We are entering the last week of the quarter, and it is time for our students to finish strong, stay focused, and take ownership of their academic success! As we approach the end of the first quarter on Friday, October 30, every day counts. We appreciate your continued partnership as we encourage our students to put forth their best effort and finish the quarter STRONG!
The end of the quarter is quickly approaching! Students should take time this week to review their current grades, submit missing assignments, prepare for upcoming assessments, and communicate with their teachers about any questions or concerns.
Middle school is an important time for students to develop responsibility, organization, and self-advocacy. Our goal is to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn. Let’s continue to show what it means to be a respectful, responsible, and engaged member of our school community.
As a reminder, the PTA Halloween Dance is TONIGHT! Get ready for for some Halloween fun! Tickers will be on sale at the door this evening for $25. Maybe you'll even see some surprise guests in costumes! 🎃
Have a wonderful weekend and GO CHARGERS!
