LHS Weekly Update

Please make sure to read this letter from Mr. McMurry, it highlights all the wonderful programs offered at LHS as well as all school wide accomplishments during the 2024-25 School year. We are excited to start another great year at LHS.

“Welcome to High School!” Students will learn about their support team, credits needed to graduate, and the various pathways provided by our school and district.

“Welcome to your sophomore year!” Students will review graduation requirements and pathways. They will also understand the importance of advisory.

“Welcome to Junior Year!” Students will set goals for their junior year and have a class meeting.

“Welcome to your senior year!” Students will set goals for their senior year and have a class meeting.

The LTP Student iPad Insurance window for the 2025-2026 school year opened August 1st and closes on September 15th. Parents who wish to join the insurance pool for this year will need to make at least a partial payment within this window.

This insurance fee was added for every eligible student K-12 on August 1st. Please note that any student with an unpaid balance for iPad insurance from the previous year will not be eligible to join the pool this year until they pay off the previous year’s balance.

2025-2026 LTP Student iPad Insurance: $25

The iPad insurance fee will be reduced or waived for students eligible for a free or reduced price lunch under the federal poverty income guidelines and homeless students as defined by McKinney-Vento.

St. Vrain’s District Technology Services has made several updates to student iPads for the upcoming school year to support a focused and secure digital learning environment both at school and at home. One key update is the implementation of a new internet filter, Securly, which adds an extra layer of protection to iPads by blocking certain types of websites.

Fall Sports

Boys Golf, Boys Soccer, Cheer, Cross Country, Boys Tennis, Football, Softball & Volleyball

Fall Sports have kicked off at LHS so you'll need to contact the coach if you would like to get involved!

All Sports Passes will be sold as $75 per adult and $50 per student and will allow admission into all home athletic contests. Ticket prices will increase to $9/adults and $5/students for all home contests, all levels (Varsity, JV, C & D team).
