There is a lot of excitement at the preschool this time of year and our young learners are gaining skills across domains: communication, social skills, fine and gross motor skills, and self-regulation strategies. We are balancing the excitement of the season while keeping in our students in their routines because we know how essential this is to their growth and progress. They are having fun AND learning. Keeping routines, including a good night's sleep, is very important for young children, especially this time of year. Thank you for your support, communication, and partnership. As the temperatures get colder, a reminder to please make sure all clothing is labeled: coats, hats, and mittens. It is best to dress your children in layers since the building can get very warm inside. Also be sure your children are wearing safe and functional footwear (sneakers, snow boots, rubber soled shoes).

On Tuesday 12/17 we host musical guest (and parent) Mr. Moyes who will sing some holiday songs with our students here at DFP. This will be a fun and engaging event for all!

Peer applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be available online January 3, 2025. Applicants will be selected via lottery system and there will be more information about the application timeline and process in November. Please be sure to check our website for application information. All information is updated and can be found on the home page under APPLICATION.
