Meet the Staff of CHE

I hope you are having a wonderful summer filled with rest and fun with your loved ones! I’m Sherry Maher and I am truly honored to be stepping into my 7th year as Principal at Cowan Heights Elementary.

Our top priority at CHE remains creating a safe, inclusive and supportive space where every child feels valued and connected. A strong, positive school culture is the foundation of student success and it is something we build together. Thank you for your continued partnership in making our school such an incredible community!

Our dedicated staff is excited to welcome our students back, foster strong relationships and make this upcoming year both engaging and memorable.

Please join me in welcoming our 2026–2027 CHE Staff Team listed below!

As a quick reminder, all monthly Cowan Connections Memos will be emailed monthly to families and regularly posted on our website: 🔗 https://cowanheights.nlesd.ca/

I can’t wait to kick off another fantastic year together at CHE!

Take Care,

Sherry Maher
