OCSA has partnered with PMH Laboratory to offer free COVID testing to OCSA employees and family members on Monday, October 26. Employees are STRONGLY SUGGESTED to get tested.

Three things that must be completed in order to take a COVID test next Monday:

1. Schedule a time to get tested by clicking on the scheduler link here

2. Review and complete the forms found in this Google Drive Folder

3. Bring your completed forms with you to your appointment

Results should be available by Thursday, October 29.

In preparation for hybrid/In-person instruction, all academic and elective teachers are required to be back on campus beginning Monday, October 26th. Monday, October 26th and Tuesday, October 27th will be ASYNCHRONOUS learning days so teachers can begin to prepare for live instruction from your classroom. Live instruction from campus will begin on Wednesday, October 28th and students return to in-person learning on Wednesday, November 4th.

Please include a Friday agenda slide each week with a list of what the students should be working on that day. As a reminder, the Friday 4:15 PM deadline is in effect, and will remain in effect when in-person learning begins next month.

The PSO grant deadline has been extended to January and applications already submitted will be evaluated on a case by case basis as they come in.

Those that have already been submitted will be discussed in the next couple of weeks and a decision made ASAP by the PSO Grant Committed. Those who need a little extra time, or find themselves w/a need come hybrid time still have the opportunity to submit.

What is a PSO Grant?

A PSO Grant is a supplemental program, funded entirely by Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) Parent Support Organization’s (PSO’S) discretionary fund. A PSO Grant provides awardees the ability to make specific purchases to fill a need in the classroom. PSO Grants fund supplies, equipment, instructional items, special projects, or programs. Those eligible to apply for a grant include OCSA Academic and/or Conservatory Faculty, Administration, and Staff.
