MESSAGE FROM MRS. BURNHAM

Roadrunner Families,

It's hard to believe we are in the final marking period of the year! Report cards will come home this week on March 25. We are looking forward to cheering on our 4th and 5th graders participating in Reading Olympics on Thursday. Thank you for continuing to make introductions as you are up at school - it has been a joy meeting so many friendly faces! Have a wonderful week!

GCPS Fine Arts Festival

Mark your calendars for a celebration of all of the amazing things happening in our fine arts classes across the county. The GCPS Fine Arts Festival will be held on Friday, April 11th at the GMS/GHS complex. See the flyer below for details.

See How We've Grown

Join us for a special family event on Tuesday, April 15th from 4-6 PM. Visitors will get an opportunity to see some of the amazing things that our students have been experiencing during the school year. We can't wait for you to "See How We've Grown!"

Reading Night at the Diamond

Students who completed the Go Nutz for Reading program will receive a FREE ticket to this year's Reading Night at the Diamond on Wednesday, April 30th. Parents, families, faculty, and friends can use this link to purchase additional tickets to this special Flying Squirrels game. A portion of ticket sale proceeds will be donated back to RES!

FUN RUN/WALK

The GCPS mental health team is hosting a FREE community event on Wednesday, May 14th from 5 - 7 PM at the GHS stadium to promote health and wellness for students, families, and staff!

Enjoy food trucks, games, bouncy houses, and door prizes. Participants will also be able to take part in a "fun run" where they are showered with colored powder. This event is for all ages.

NEW VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT FORMS

We are excited to announce that the Volunteering page on the GCPS website has been updated with a brand-new Volunteer Recruitment Form! The new form simplifies the process for anyone interested in volunteering within our school district, making it easier to get involved and contribute to the success of our students.

We encourage all interested volunteers to fill out the form to help us match your skills and interests with the perfect opportunities within our schools. Your time and expertise are invaluable to the success of our students, and we are grateful for your support!
