ASASP Union Membership Reaches 1265

Membership has increased by more than 265 members since 2022. Your voices are more likely to be heard the more involved you are in your union.

There are six primary committees, however, other committees and times may be established if the need arises throughout the course of the year.

Committees will consist of 3-5 dues paying union members in good standing.

There are six standing committees that will meet near the end of each quarter of the school year. the six standing committes are:

Negotiations Concepts Committee

Membership Committee

Budget and Finance Committee

Nominations and Elections Committee

Bylaws Committee

Scholarship Committee

Since there is no stipend or financial reward, the standing committee meeting will include brunch or lunch depending on the established time of the 2.5 hour meeting.

Meetings will not cost you any leave time, as you will be able to use union leave time to participate in union business each time.

Committee Meeting Dates will be established during the period between:

March 9 - March 20, 2026 (Quarterly Committee Meetings)

May 11 - May 22, 2026 (Quarterly Committee Meetings)
