Work-Based Learning Program

Baldwin High School's Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program has created more than 150 career exploration opportunities for students since September. This spring, the district also launched a unique “Virtual Internship” component to the program, allowing students to intern with professionals all over the country. Thirty students are currently working virtually with fashion designers, advocates, spiritual healers, marketing firms, STEM networks and clothing companies, where they complete tasks remotely, join Zoom meetings and presentations, among other responsibilities.
