Hello Mountain Families, I hope you all had a wonderful Homecoming Weekend. I was out of town dropping my oldest off at college in Santa Barbara. It sure does go by fast. As I reflect on James's education so far, he has been blessed by a tight & supportive LAPS community. Mountain is a strong community that works together for children. Thank you so much for your continued support whether it be lunch sign up or donating to the FundRun. You make the difference. Hope to see you all Friday at the FundRun!!!

The Mountain Elementary Fund Run is the PTA's biggest fundraiser of the year. It allows us to fund field trips, classroom supplies, teacher grants, school events, and so much more.

This year our goal is for each student to raise $50. Every student who raises $50 will get a chance to throw a ball at the dunk tank and dunk a teacher! Every $100 after that earns them an extra ball. They can earn up to five!

You can also create a profile to help your student collect donations by visiting https://mybooster.com/v3. This allows family members and friends to donate to our school. If you would like to donate cash or a check, you can drop it off at the school or bring it to the Fund Run on September 26th. We really appreciate all of your support!
