Jonathan Alder Junior High
April 25, 2025
Message from the Principal
JAJHS Families,
I hope you’ve had a great week!
I want to share that I am so proud of our students and teachers for their hard work during the ELA Ohio State Tests earlier this week. Our kids were committed to doing their best on the tests and I appreciate their willingness to approach the tests with grit and determination! Next week we finish up with math tests on Tuesday and the science test (8th grade only) on Thursday.
We are also gearing up for the exciting end-of-the-year activities including a first-ever 7th grade field trip to Junior Achievement’s Finance Park. Our 8th graders are getting ready for the DC trip, special activities for the kids staying at the JH, and the exciting last day of school Pool Party! We have a busy several weeks ahead!
Please be sure to review the rest of the newsletter for other important information.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Mr. Malany
Principal

Sometimes parents ask that school personnel administer medication to their child during the school day. When this is necessary, we require written permission and instructions from the parent and in some instances from the doctor. The required form must be completed and turned in to the junior high office with the medication to be administered.
