I would like to thank you for letting us be a partner in your child's education. We will do everything that we can to support you and your child to ensure they have a meaningful and successful experience here at Mathes Early Learning Center.

Please know that if you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns that you are welcome to call or email me anytime.

WATCH DOGS

WE JUST STARTED OUR WATCHDOG PROGRAM...Please see below to find out more details:

What are the goals of a WATCH D.O.G.S. program?

· To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.

· To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security.

Who are WatchDOGS and how does WATCH D.O.G.S. work?

· WatchDOGS are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer at our school.

· WatchDOG volunteers perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room, or helping in the classroom with a teacher’s guidance by working with small groups.

How to become a WatchD.O.G.?

· All WatchD.O.G.S must fill out a volunteer form and return it to Mathes before volunteering. https://melc.seamanschools.org/resource_center/volunteer

· Sign-up on the Sign-Up Genius and select your date.
