HMS Hiller Heads-Up

We have had a lot of excitement over the last two days! Our staff has truly enjoyed welcoming students into the building.

We'd like to extend a sincere thank you to all families who took time to discuss the cell phone policy with their students. Please help us by reminding your student to power down their phone at the start of the day. For most students, this will mean they turn off their phones as they leave their morning location: Doyle Gym for Grade 6, Brown Gym for Grade 7 and the auditorium for Grade 8. If you are dropping off your student after 7:55 am, please ask them to power down their phone before entering the building. Thank you for your cooperation!

I am pleased to share that we have had very few tardies during our first two days! While we have been very flexible as students adjust to the return to school, starting next week we will adhere to our 7:55 am start time. Thank you for planning ahead to ensure your student is here on time. Students are to be seated in their homeroom by 7:55 am having already gotten breakfast, visited their locker, dropped off sports equipment in the locker room, put their instrument away, etc. Let's keep working together to get our students' day off to a comfortable start.
