Dear NPS Community,
As a superintendent, one of my greatest joys is hearing the stories of students and staff around the district. The energy of young people is infectious and the diversity of their ideas inspiring – and there is nothing like the energy the week before vacation!
A new year provides an opportunity to reflect on accomplishments and renew commitments. The stories young people share remind me of the important role educators play in building a hopeful and optimistic vision for the future. I often say we can accomplish great things together, so in 2026 let us resolve to celebrate our young people and their many, many dreams.
Whether you are celebrating religious holidays or simply enjoying a few days off from the school routine, I wish you and your family a healthy and fun week. As we welcome a new year, I hope you have the opportunity to connect with the young people in your life.
See you next year!
Respectfully,
Sean Gallagher
