MS Students are Authors
The Creative Writing Class at Parke Heritage Middle School wrote and designed their own books. They then read the stories to Turkey Run Elementary School classes who voted on their top book. And the student’s favorite book is..... “Skibidi Toilet”
Writing and designing books is a fun way for these students to be able to use their imagination and creativity.
Automotive Class Tours Airport
The Wabash River Career and Technical Education (WRCTE) Automotive class recently took a field trip to the Vincennes Aviation program at the Indianapolis Airport.
During this field experience, the students completed a tour of the facility and were able to go into classrooms while they were working on parts of an airplane. They were able to see what the program aims to do for its students.
The students were very interested and asked many quality questions. Currently, there are two students who are planning to attend this program and have already been accepted.
The Automotive class is housed at Parke Heritage High School and is taught by Ed Kutch and Corey Newnum.

Cambree Mullis (middle left)- “Cambree has excelled as a student in biology. She works very hard at her grade and her dedication to taking complete notes, keeping an organized science notebook, studying for her tests and quizzes is all evident. She has done all this while being a member of the hard working dance team. She puts in the time and work both for dance and in her classes and it truly shows. I am so proud of her work in biology!”
