🌟🎄 Holiday Happiness 🎄🌟

December has arrived, bringing with it cheerful smiles, creative outfits, and festive celebrations through concerts and class events. During this exciting time, please continue supporting your children at home by encouraging them to be respectful, responsible, and make safe choices at school. Amidst the hustle and bustle, we hope you find joy in the holiday season, sharing special moments with family and friends.

Weather Preparedness Reminder

Please ensure your children are dressed appropriately for the weather, as we continue to have outdoor recess unless it's dangerously cold. To prevent items from getting lost, consider labeling your child's jacket and belongings. Encourage them to check the lost-and-found if something goes missing.

Portrait of a Cedar: Critical Thinker

This month, we're excited to focus on the character trait of being a "Critical Thinker." We'll explore what it means to think critically and why it's important in our everyday lives. Throughout the month, students will learn how to understand the big picture, propose solutions based on evidence, evaluate and prioritize different solutions, and seek ways to resolve conflicts. We look forward to recognizing and celebrating those students who show these valuable skills in their learning journey.

Connect

We encourage you to stay connected with your child's classroom through SeeSaw and MyPowerHub. If you encounter any difficulties reaching your child's teacher, please don't hesitate to contact the Northwest Office. Our Northwest team is committed to fostering community connections and will keep you informed about all the exciting events happening at school.

With Unity and Northwest Pride,

NW Administration

Your support is always appreciated in helping us to maintain accurate information regarding address changes, new telephone numbers, etc.

It is a recommended procedure by the Pennsylvania Department of Education that, in the event of a change of address, confirmation of the new address is required before information can be updated/changed. Confirmation of address may include a utility bill or a copy of the lease. If you are residing with someone else, we will provide you with a Residency Affidavit that will need to be signed and notarized.

Please submit all information regarding address changes to the Northwest Office. Accurate information on your child is vital in the event of an emergency! Office personnel will be happy to assist with any questions you may have at 717-270-6800.
